Musée Jacquemart-André
There is something quite disturbing about the
opulence of this mansion in trhe midst of the massive poverty of 1870s
Paris, but the owners did create a beautiful space . . .
. . . and they filled it with exceptional works of art.
Of course there was the Louvre.
There was a fascinating exhibit of the Portuguese Renaissance -- Who
knew?
There were so many choices . . .
